Beware of phising emails and scammers!

Hello Everyone,

We're writing to make you aware of phishing attempts involving emails that can happen throughout the season.

They may appear to come from Hurricanes members (president, club, Admin) OR RAMP InterActive. We want to ensure you have the information needed to protect yourself.

Always be sure to double check the email that any messaging comes from, the Hurricanes will only communicate via RAMP or hhbasketballclub@gmail.com. Even though it may seem like a simple request (to meet, or get more info, or to fill out a link), it is not directly coming from the club.

We've also identified activity involving a lookalike email addresses and spoofed messages designed to impersonate us. The fraudulent sender has been using the domain ramplnteractive.com, spelled with a lowercase "L," rather than our legitimate domain, rampinteractive.com, spelled with an "i." The two are very easy to confuse at a glance.

Please keep the following in mind:

• Do not click any direct links in an email unless you have confirmed the sender's email address is legit.
• Be cautious of any unexpected requests, unusual links, or attachments.
• Verify the sender's address carefully before responding or taking any action.

If anything seems off, please do not reply, click any links, or open any attachments. Instead, reach out to us directly through your usual contact to confirm whether a message is legitimate.
