Call For Volunteers - Help Needed - 2026-2027 Season
The Halifax Hurricanes are gearing up for the 2026-2027 season and are calling on anyone looking to help head coach, assistant coach, manage or volunteer for the upcoming season!
The Halifax Hurricanes are the only MBANS club that has a Learning Facilitator (can offer Learn To Train coach training) and a Coach Developer (can evaluate, assess and certify coaches). We have all the tools for coaches to start their journey, or accelerate their training through the game we all love.
Staff requirements for the 2026-2027 season include:
- Register as a Staff Member on RAMP via http://halifaxhurricanes.rampregistrations.com/ (Though of most importance, you will need to complete steps 2-4 to register on RAMP).
- Enhanced Police Information Check (E-PIC) (commonly referred to as a criminal background check).
Your E-PIC must not be older than 3 years from October 31.
If you do not have an E-PIC, you can request one during the Coach/Staff Registration process discussed below. The system bills the club. You can complete your Coach/Staff Registration and send us the E-PIC once you have it. Please email hhbasketballclub@gmail.com for assistance.
