Welcome to the 2024-25 Regular Season registration for the Mini Canes program

We have moved our registration service over to RAMP Interactive.

To register your player at the new RAMP registration page, please follow this link:

HalifaxHurricanes.rampregistrations.com

When you get to the RAMP registration page you will have to login to your existing RAMP account or create a new RAMP account.

If you have already used RAMP to register for other activities you would use that same account.

If you have never used RAMP before, you will have to create an account and "Add Family Members".  This is a very easy process.  Just follow the instructions on the page.

Once in RAMP follow the “Available Participant Packages” link and pick Mini Canes program.

On the payment page, please pay by credit card. Please note that the payment service provider charges a 2% admin fee.

If you require financial assistance or need to arrange split payment, please email Danny De Palma at hhbasketballclub@gmail.com to discuss.  Our goal is to help where help is needed.

NOTE - 7 YEAR OLDS HAVE THE OPTION TO REGISTER FOR U10

Some 7 year olds may feel that they are ready for a more competitive team environment.  The U10 age group is the first age level that consists of formal teams that play in a league called the Metro Basketball Association.  The U10s typically practice one to two times per week and have a game every Saturday.  U10 teams are created by the players going through our player assessment process where they, along with a large group of their peers, are assessed for skill, basketball IQ, coachability, and general athleticism.  There are two assessment sessions.  After the assessment players are placed on a team with others having similar abilities.

7 year olds can register for U10 and attend the first player assessment.  If, after the first assessment, they feel that they are not yet ready for U10, you can contact Danny De Palma at hhbasketballclub@gmail.com to arrange for your player to be moved to Mini with a partial refund (U10 is $500 and Mini is only $250).  If a 7 year old attends the second player assessment, he or she must stay in the U10 division.  There are no refunds after a player attends the second player assessment.  A player must select either U10 or Mini.  Registration in both is not permitted.

Welcome to the 2024-25 season everyone!

Go Canes!
